ANTAPURA Background Paintings

Antapura is a high fantasy world concept based on Indonesian geography, mythologies, and cultures. This final year project was developed by four individuals with the goal of establishing Intellectual Property that brings and reflects Indonesian culture to the world.

In this project, I created the background concept, layout, and composite. Like characters, environment is just as crucial when we talk about telling a story. Arcane is my greatest inspiration; their ability to merge 2d style painting into 3d space amazes me, also their brushwork and art style are superb.
